In 2014, the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults (Kanoon) commissioned “Studio Kargah” to design covers for a number of notebooks. Peyman Pourhossein, the lead designer at the studio, assigned this task to me, and I carried out the designs under his supervision. The concept involved creating repeating patterns based on a combination of authentic Iranian motifs and visual elements.
